Car Falls Off Road On Pune-Ahmednagar Road, Three Injured
Pune 17th July 2023: In a tragic accident reported on the Pune-Ahmednagar road in the wee hours on Monday, a car skidded off the road and fell approximately 50 feet below near the bridge over the Bhima River in Koregaon Bhima. Three people sustained injuries in the incident.
According to reports, the injured passengers were travelling on the Pune-Ahmednagar road. Their car collided with the edge of the bridge and flipped over, sliding down a 50-foot-deep trench. One person was trapped inside the car after the accident and he was rescued by the local police and villagers by breaking the windshield of the car. According to police, Anikesh Singhal (30) and Rishikesh Yadav (34) sustained severe injuries, while Raja Vinayak Singh (39) sustained minor injuries. All the injured have been shifted to the private hospital nearby for treatment.
