CBI and ACB Officers Enlighten Pune Postal Staff in Vigilance Workshop
Pune, 5th November 2023: In the spirit of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, observed nationwide from 30th October to 5th November, the Pune City East Postal Division conducted a Workshop and Sensitization Program for its staff. The event, held on 3rd November 2023 at Pudmajee Hall, MCCIA, Pune, aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of vigilance practices among postal employees.
The distinguished guests for the occasion were Sudhir Hiremath (IPS), Deputy Inspector General of Police, CBI Pune, and Amol Tambe (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Maharashtra State ACB, Pune. Both officers played crucial roles as Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, respectively.
Abhijit Ichake, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Pune City East Postal Division, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests. The Chief Guest, Sudhir Hiremath, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the procedures, mechanisms, and the pivotal role of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in matters of vigilance.
Following this, Keynote Speaker Amol Tambe (IPS) shared his valuable experiences in the Police Department, shedding light on the activities carried out by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The sessions were interactive, allowing the audience to engage with the officers and gain insights into vigilant practices.
Over 150 postal employees and officers from the Pune Postal Region actively participated in the workshop, taking advantage of the opportunity to deepen their understanding of vigilance. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Pune Postal Region, expressing gratitude to the officers for their informative and engaging sessions.
