CBI and PF Department Conduct Surprise Inspection of Pune and Akurdi PF Offices Amid User Complaints

Pune/Akurdi, 29th October 2024: In response to a growing number of complaints from users, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alongside the Vigilance Department of the Provident Fund (PF) office carried out an unannounced inspection at both the Pune PF Acan Office and the Akurdi PF Office. This surprise inspection aimed to address longstanding grievances and ensure compliance with PF regulations.
The Akurdi PF Office has reportedly been the subject of numerous user complaints, with many alleging a lack of response and inefficient handling of cases. Senior officers have not been able to effectively address issues or provide adequate assistance to those seeking help with their Provident Fund concerns.
