The CBI has summoned NCP leader Anil Deshmukh for questioning in connection with the investigation into the allegations leveled by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. Deshmukh has reached the DRDO office to face the CBI’s questions on Parambir Singh’s allegations, where he will be questioned shortly.

Deshmukh had to resign following allegations leveled by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Singh and the CBI has initiated an inquiry against him on the orders of the High Court. Before interrogating Deshmukh, two assistants of Deshmukh were questioned by the central agency on Sunday.
