Delhi, December 27, 2020: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has made a big announcement regarding the CBSE exam dates. He announced on the social media platform that the dates of CBSE board exam will be announced on 31 December 2020 at 6 pm.

In the year 2020, 18 lakhs students appeared in CBSE’s 10th board examination and 12 lakhs in 12th board examination. This time too, almost the same number of students are expected to appear in these board examinations.

Earlier on December 22, while talking to the teachers, he said that the board examinations will not be held till February 2021, but the examinations will not be cancelled. He said that when the examinations will be held will be discussed and decisions will be taken in the interest of students by considering the current situation.

He had said, “Practical exams usually start in January and Theory exams are held between mid-February to March. Looking at the current situation, exams are not possible in January and February. So the final decision will be taken after proper discussion.”

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, all the students and parents demanded to cancel the exams as students did not get enough time to prepare for examinations.
