Pune: April 28, 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has sought information from the schools to submit the internal assessment for class 10 students and practical marks of class 12 students.

Likewise, it also has sought information regarding various official work related to board examination. CBSE regional director Mahesh Dharmadhikari clarified that CBSE has not issued any notification making it compulsory for the students to remain present for practical examination.

Dharmadhikari said, “a wrong message is being circulated on the social media sites regarding the CBSE notification calling the students to schools/colleges for conducting the practical examinations. This is not true.

“Infact I spoke with various school principals who denied that any such notification was received by them”, he informed. CBSE has only sought the information regarding the internal assessment of class 10 students and practical examination of class 12 students.

“The board has set the deadline to submit this information by April 28, but there was some misunderstanding which led to the confusion”, he explained.
