Central Railway Announces 2,012 Summer Special Train Services From Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Nashik Road and Nagpur

Pune/Mumbai, 16th March 2026: Central Railway has announced the operation of 2,012 summer special train services from major stations including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Pune, Solapur, Badnera and Nagpur to handle the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the summer travel season.

In addition, 120 special train services will be operated on demand based on passenger demand.

Major Special Trains From Mumbai

1. Train No. 01079/01080 CSMT–Gorakhpur–CSMT Daily Special
Train No. 01079 will depart CSMT at 22:30 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 10:00 hrs on the third day. Train No. 01080 will depart Gorakhpur at 14:30 hrs and arrive CSMT at 00:40 hrs on the third day.
These trains will operate as Trains on Demand from April 1 to April 14, 2026 and as Summer Specials from April 15 to April 30, 2026.

2. Train No. 01171/01172 CSMT–Madgaon–CSMT Weekly Special
Train No. 01171 will leave CSMT every Thursday at 00:20 hrs from April 16 to June 11, 2026 and reach Madgaon at 15:15 hrs the same day.
Train No. 01172 will depart Madgaon every Thursday at 16:00 hrs and arrive CSMT at 03:45 hrs the next day.

3. Train No. 02141/02142 CSMT–Nagpur–CSMT Bi-Weekly Special
Train No. 02141 will depart CSMT every Sunday and Tuesday at 00:20 hrs from April 19 to July 14, 2026 and reach Nagpur at 15:10 hrs.
Train No. 02142 will depart Nagpur at 20:00 hrs and reach CSMT at 13:30 hrs the next day.

4. Train No. 01025/01026 Dadar–Ballia–Dadar Tri-Weekly Special
Train No. 01025 will leave Dadar railway station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 14:05 hrs from April 15 to July 15, 2026 and reach Ballia on the third day at 01:45 hrs.
Train No. 01026 will depart Ballia at 15:15 hrs every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and arrive Dadar at 03:35 hrs on the third day.

5. Train No. 01027/01028 Dadar–Gorakhpur–Dadar Special (Four Days a Week)
Train No. 01027 will depart Dadar at 14:05 hrs every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from April 16 to July 14, 2026 and reach Gorakhpur at 02:45 hrs on the third day.
Train No. 01028 will depart Gorakhpur at 14:25 hrs and reach Dadar at 03:35 hrs on the third day.

Services From Lokmanya Tilak Terminus

6. Train No. 01043/01044 LTT–Samastipur–LTT Weekly AC Special
Train No. 01043 will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday at 12:15 hrs from April 21 to July 14, 2026 and reach Samastipur at 23:45 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01044 will depart Samastipur every Thursday at 03:00 hrs and arrive LTT at 16:25 hrs the next day.

7. Train No. 01073/01074 LTT–Banaras–LTT Bi-Weekly Special
Train No. 01073 will depart LTT every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:15 hrs and reach Banaras at 23:30 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01074 will depart Banaras every Friday and Saturday at 05:30 hrs and reach LTT at 16:40 hrs the next day.

8. Train No. 01119/01120 LTT–Madgaon–LTT Weekly Special
Train No. 01119 will depart LTT every Friday at 00:55 hrs from April 17 to June 12, 2026 and reach Madgaon at 15:15 hrs the same day.
Train No. 01120 will depart Madgaon at 16:00 hrs and reach LTT at 03:30 hrs the next day.

9. Train No. 01143/01144 LTT–Danapur–LTT Daily Special
Train No. 01143 will depart LTT at 10:30 hrs daily and reach Danapur at 18:45 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01144 will depart Danapur at 21:30 hrs and reach LTT at 07:45 hrs on the third day.

10. Train No. 01436/01435 LTT–Solapur–LTT Weekly Special
Train No. 01436 will depart LTT every Wednesday at 12:50 hrs from April 22 to July 15, 2026 and reach Solapur at 09:15 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01435 will depart Solapur every Tuesday at 09:20 hrs and reach LTT at 03:45 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01023 will depart Pune at 21:50 hrs daily from April 15 to July 15, 2026 and reach Kolhapur at 05:08 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01024 will depart Kolhapur at 23:30 hrs and reach Pune at 07:45 hrs the next day.

12. Train No. 01415/01416 Pune–Gorakhpur–Hadapsar Daily Special

Railway authorities said reservations for several summer special trains will open on March 17, 2026 through computerized reservation centres and the IRCTC Rail Connect platform.

Bookings for unreserved coaches will be available through the UTS on Mobile system. Passengers can check train timings through the NTES.
