Central Railway Introduces New Weekly Train Connecting Pune and Bikaner

Pune, 29th May 2023: In a move aimed at enhancing connectivity between Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, Central Railway has announced the introduction of a new weekly train service between Pune and Bikaner. This initiative is expected to benefit passengers traveling between the regions and facilitate smoother travel options.

 

The inaugural run of the special train will depart from Pune on May 30, 2023, at 20:10 hrs, reaching Bikaner the next day at 20:45 hrs. Following this, the regular schedule for the train service will commence.

 

Train no. 20476 Weekly Special will depart from Pune every Tuesday at 20:10 hrs, starting from June 6, 2023. It will arrive in Bikaner at 20:45 hrs the following day. Similarly, train no. 20475 Weekly Special will depart from Bikaner every Monday at 07:10 hrs, beginning from June 5, 2023, and reach Pune at 07:35 hrs the next day.

 

The train will make stops at various stations during its journey, including Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar Jn, Pali, Luni, Jodhpur, Goran, Merta Road, Nagaur, and Nokha.

Comprising a total of 20 coaches, the train will consist of 2 AC 2-Tier, 5 AC 3-Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, and 2 Luggage cum Guard Brake Vans.

Passengers can make reservations for the Weekly Train No. 20476 at all computerized reservation centers and the official website, www.irctc.co.in.
