Pune: 19 Injured In Massive Fire At Marigold IT Park Building In Kalyaninagar; Rescue Operation Underway

Kalyaninagar, 29th May 2023: A devastating fire erupted earlier today at MariSoft Tower, a prominent IT park building in the Kalyaninagar area. The incident resulted in 19 people sustaining injuries, with five individuals being referred to hospitals for further treatment, while 14 others received immediate first aid.
The Pune Municipal Corporation’s fire brigade team swiftly responded to the emergency and successfully rescued four individuals who were stranded on the roof of the building. However, there are concerns that more people might be trapped inside the premises, prompting an ongoing rescue operation involving the use of a ladder.
The fire broke out around 11:26 am, prompting a distress call to the 108 ambulance helpline. According to officials, the MariGold IT Park houses several IT companies and business offices, making it a bustling center for professionals in the area.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, the fire brigade team is diligently working to extinguish the flames and secure the safety of all individuals involved. Further investigations will be carried out to ascertain the origin and extent of the fire incident.
