Charity Fashion Show In Pune: Doctors Strut for Sanitary Napkins & HPV Vaccination

Pune, 31st July 2023: Kashish Social Foundation organized a successful charity fashion show in Pune to raise awareness about women’s health. Over 100 doctors participated in the event, walking the ramp as part of their social responsibility. The funds collected from the show will provide 1 lakh sanitary napkins and HPV vaccination for women in remote areas. The enthusiastic response from the doctors made the event a great success.

Yogesh Pawar, President of Kashish Social Foundation, emphasized the importance of menstrual awareness and shared their initiative’s progress in distributing 40,000 sanitary napkins to remote areas. The remaining 60,000 napkins will be distributed after the show. Additionally, to prevent uterine cancer, HPV vaccination will be provided to girls in remote areas free of cost through Dr. Shraddha Javanjal.

The event saw the presence of distinguished individuals, including Jagdish Mulik, Meghraj Rajebhosale, Dr. Sanjay Kulkarni, Dr. Jyotsna Kulkarni, and many others. The show featured two rounds of ramp walk, with the first round showcasing designer dresses and the second round highlighting white aprons, symbolizing social work.

The charity show received support from various organizations, including Mumbai Oncocare Centre, Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd, Pankaj Bhadage, and VNWC (Bobby Karnani).

The advisory board and core committee members, along with organizers Anjali Wagh, Pooja Wagh, and Priyanka Misal, contributed to the show’s success. RJ Bandya and Mahesh Soni handled the anchoring for the program. Overall, the event was a commendable effort in creating awareness and supporting women’s health initiatives.
