Check Optional Land For Purandar Airport: Dy. CM Ajit Pawar
Pune, October 14, 2020: Before starting the land acquisition process for Purandar airport, Deputy Chief Minister and Pune district guardian minister Ajit Pawar has directed the district administration to check from Army and Air force from the taluka about the optional piece of land.
He also said that the land acquisition process should be carried out on a fast pace and adequate compensation should be given to the farmers. “Do not give them one option, but give them multiple options for acquiring their lands so that they can select best among it,” he instructed.
A meeting regarding the Purandar airport held at Mantralaya on Tuesday. It was attended by divisional commissioner Saurabh Rao and district collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh.
