CISCE Zone 2 Cricket Tournament: Undri’s Bishop’s Co-ed School Emerges Champions

Pune, 19th April 2024: The Bishop’s School, Camp, hosted this year’s CISCE Games and Sports Zone 2 Cricket Tournament for the U-17 Boys Category. The Tournament commenced on April 17, 2024, with 15 renowned school teams from Pune and its vicinity participating.

The Tournament reached its culmination on April 19, 2024, with an enthralling final match between The Bishop’s School, Camp, and the Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri. In an intense showdown, The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, clinched victory by scoring 183 runs for 4 wickets in 15 overs, while The Bishop’s School, Camp, managed 133 runs, losing all their wickets. The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, emerged triumphant in the CISCE Zone 2 Cricket Tournament 2024, securing a win by 50 runs.

Idris Hakim from The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Kalyani Nagar, stood out as the highest scorer of the tournament with an impressive total of 255 runs. Meanwhile, Tanish Jain from The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, showcased exceptional bowling skills, claiming 11 wickets as the highest wicket-taker.

The winning and runner-up teams will advance to represent the Zone at the Regional Tournament, slated to take place in Mumbai.
