CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Welcomed Dearly in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Says “Students Are Not Terrorists”
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 30th July 2026: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke received a rousing welcome from supporters upon his arrival at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Airport on Wednesday, days after the conclusion of the 36-day anti-paper leak agitation in New Delhi. Amid loud sloganeering, Dipke proceeded to Kranti Chowk to pay tributes to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj before visiting the entrance of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University to pay homage at the bust of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Addressing supporters, Dipke declared the agitation a victory for students but alleged that participants were continuing to face intimidation even after the protests had ended. He claimed that instead of engaging in dialogue, authorities had responded with force, and warned that the continued targeting of student protesters could spark a larger nationwide movement.
Speaking on the alleged crackdown, Dipke claimed that police officials have been visiting the homes of students who participated in the protests across different states and intimidating them. He said students who took part in the movement should not be treated as criminals.
“Students are not terrorists. They are the future of this country,” Dipke said, adding that the youth have the power to bring about political change through democratic means if their concerns continue to be ignored.
Referring to the police action during the July 20 ‘March to Parliament’ protest, Dipke alleged that students had “shed blood on the streets” and questioned why participants were still facing intimidation after the protests had concluded.
He also demanded accountability for the reported use of pellet guns during the protest at Jantar Mantar, saying action should be taken against those who authorised the police response.
Claiming that sustained public pressure had already led to political consequences in the wake of the NEET paper leak controversy, Dipke said the government must now ensure that students are not subjected to further harassment for participating in peaceful protests.
He warned that if police action against students continues, the CJP will intensify its agitation in the coming days. Dipke also said the party is in talks with farmer organisations to build a broader movement around issues affecting students and the farming community.
