Pune, 13th January 2022: The CNG prices have gone up by Rs 2.10 per kg in Pune city. For the last few days, fuel prices in Pune have skyrocketed.

Rising petrol and diesel prices have slashed the pockets of the common man. However, those using CNG vehicles too now have to bear the brunt of the price hike. Henceforth this hike, citizens will have to pay Rs 66 per kg of CNG.

This is the first price hike this year since November 2021. Earlier, CNG prices had gone up by Rs 4.60 in August. On October 4th and 14th, CNG prices were hiked by Rs 2 and Rs 2.6, respectively.

It was the first time that the price was increased by Rs 4 in a single month. On the occasion of Diwali, petrol became cheaper by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 10. This was a great relief to the vehicle owners. Meanwhile, the price of CNG has been rising, though petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged.
