Pune, 14th August 2021: Maharashtra State Minister for Higher and Technical Education Uday Samant while addressing a press conference in Pune today gave important information regarding starting colleges across the state.
Speaking at the press conference, Samant said, “We are ready to start colleges. What percentage to start with? And how to do it? Discussions are underway with each District Collector in this regard. The task force has said that reopening colleges or schools could be a problem for the third wave. So we will take all these reports to the disaster management department, discuss with the task force. But the Maharashtra government is preparing to start colleges. Everywhere the Vice-Chancellor is talking to the Collector, to our Director. We will decide to start colleges as soon as possible.”
