Complete Lockdown In Maharashtra From 8 PM On Wednesday For 15 Days

Pune, 13th April 2021: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his address through social media announced that there will be a complete lockdown in Maharashtra from 8 pm on Wednesday for 15 days.

 

From 7 am to 8 pm only essential services like medical stores, milk supply will be allowed. Public transport like Local train, State Transport buses, autorickshaw will be allowed for essential services like medical, pharmaceutical, insurance, vaccine manufacturer, Reserve Bank, e-commerce, petroleum services.

 

Take away and home delivery from restaurants, hotels allowed besides roadside food vendors will be allowed. COVID test is necessary for the staff.

 

The industry will be allowed to operate at 100%.

Under the Food Security Act, food grain will be provided to seven crore registered beneficiaries. 3 kg wheat, 2 kg rice will be given per person for one month.

Shiv Bhojan Thali to poor people will be given free of cost for one month. At present, two lakh thali is being sold.

Rs 1000 to eligible beneficiaries (about 35 lakh people) to senior citizens, widows etc under various schemes will be given in advance.

Registered construction workers will be given a Rs 1500 allowance.

House help will get the monetary allowance. Registered roadside vendors (5 lakh) will also get Rs 1500. Permit holders autorickshaw drivers (12 lakh) will get Rs 1500 each. Tribal family (12 lakh) will get Rs 2000 per family.

 

District Collectors have been given about Rs 3300 crore for COVID prevention measures.
