Complete The Work Of Palkhi Routes By 31st March: Ajit Pawar

Pune, January 22, 2021: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has directed the authorities to complete the work of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg by the end of March.

He was speaking at a meeting held at the VVIP Circuit House. Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, District Superintendent of Police Abhinav Deshmukh, Executive Engineer Atul Chavan, NHAI officers were present in the meeting.

District Collectors of Solapur and Satara districts were present through the videoconferencing system.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawar said that Pune Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, District Collectors of Pune, Solapur, and Satara districts should plan to complete these two roads by 31st March.

“If a project is delayed for some reason, the cost increases. Compensation for land acquisition should be provided for both these routes”, he said.

Pawar also directed that Divisional Commissioner Rao should hold a separate meeting to sort out the issue if necessary.
