Pune, 20th December 2023: Mahar Vatan Adhikar Parishad, a local organization, has raised concerns and demanded the cancellation of Kapil Sharma and Sunidhi Chauhan’s live programs scheduled at The Mills near Pune station. The organization argues that the event should not be allowed due to an existing stay order from the State Government Revenue Department about the land use.

The controversy revolves around a reported land dispute where Kapil Sharma’s live show is scheduled to take place on Friday, 22nd December, organized by the 2BHK Club.

Mahar Vatan Adhikar Parishad contends that, in light of the ongoing legal complexities, the Pune police should refrain from granting permission for the program. Sunidhi Chauhan’s program, anticipated at a later date, is also subject to the organization’s objection.

In response to these demands, the organization has officially submitted a letter to Pune Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr. Organization’s Secretary Dr. Prashant Pagare and notable members including Chandrashekhar Javale, Dilip Gaikwad, Pankaj Javale, Vinod Chavan, and Sujan Kamble, were also present on the occasion. They emphasized the importance of upholding legal protocols and avoiding potential conflicts arising from the disputed land.

The controversy adds a layer of complexity to the eagerly anticipated live performances by renowned artists Kapil Sharma and Sunidhi Chauhan.
