Corona: All Gardens In PCMC Area Closed Till March 31

Pimpri Chinchwad, 10th March 2021: To prevent the spread of coronavirus, all gardens in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area will remain closed till 31 March 2021, states an order issued by Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil.

He also reiterated that people should not come out of home from 11 pm to 6 am as a night curfew has been imposed. However, those engaged in essential services or who have an emergency are exempted from the curfew.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation said that 812 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 373 people got discharged from hospitals while three people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,11,515 out of which 1,03,890 have recovered while 1866 have died. 1281 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 177 non-PCMC residents currently admitted to PCMC hospitals, while 787 have died and 8141 have been cured.
