Corona Restrictions In Pune City Relaxed As Number Of COVID-19 Patients Are Decreasing

Pune, 2nd February 2022: Restrictions in the city have been relaxed as the number of infected patients has decreased. The Maharashtra state government has eased the restrictions. After this, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar issued an order accordingly.

According to the new order, spa, salons, beauty parlors will continue to operate at 50% of seating capacity. There will be no restrictions on attendance for funerals. Marriages can be celebrated in the open space in the presence of 25% of the capacity and enclosed space in the presence of 200 citizens; whichever is less.

According to the new order, all the parks will be open from 6 am – 9 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm. Amusement parks, theme parks, swimming pools, water parks will be conducted at 50% capacity. Restaurants, hotels, cinema halls, and auditoriums can be opened with 50% of the seating capacity. Social, religious, cultural events will continue with 50% of the seating capacity of the hall/pavilion.

All national parks, as well as tourist destinations, will continue on the scheduled time of visit. All sports grounds will continue to operate at 35% of the seating capacity. Weekly markets can resume all day.

The same orders will apply to Khadki and Pune Cantonment.
