Coronavirus : 114 Indians who returned from Dubai, quarantined in Pune

Pune, March 20,2020: As per the guidelines of the government, 114 Indians who returned from Dubai to Pune via a SpiceJet flight today early morning, have been quarantined.

One passenger informed about having cough and he was admitted to Naidu Hospital Pune.

According to officials, the Dubai to Pune SpiceJet flight SG-52 landed at Pune International Airport in Lohegaon, at 4.04 am. There were 115 passengers and all of them were screened. Except one, all others had no health related issues.

However, as per government guidelines to compulsorily keep people in quarantine who return from abroad, all of them were taken to Sarasbaug Sanas complex, Swargate, in five buses. They will be quarantined and observed before any decision is further taken.

The number of Coronavirus positive patients has increased to 19 in Pune district, while in the state there are 48 such persons.
