Coronavirus: 13,348 discharged, 390 deaths, 12,248 new cases in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Aug 10, 2020: A total of 13,348 patients were discharged and 12,248 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 1390 new cases were reported in PMC yesterday. Yesterday, 390 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.45%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 5,15,332 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 3,51,710 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.45%. As of yesterday, there are 1,45,558 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 68.25% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.45%. Currently, 10,00,588 people are in home quarantine and 34,957 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 27,25,090 laboratory samples, 5,15,332 have been tested positive (18.91%) for COVID-19 until yesterday.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,153,010 across the country. Out of this, 1,480,884 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 43,379 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 628,747 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
