Coronavirus: 25,681 New Cases In Maharashtra, 70 Deaths

Mumbai, March 19, 2021: A total of 14,400 patients were discharged and 25,681 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 70 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.20%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 24,22,021 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 21,89,965 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.20%. As of today, there are 1,77,560 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 90.42% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.20%. Currently, 8,67,333 people are in home quarantine and 7,848 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,80,83,977 laboratory sample 24,22,021 have been tested positive (13.39%) for COVID-19 until today.
