Coronavirus: 82,266 Patients Discharged today, New Cases Tally Cross 50 Lakh Mark In Maharashtra
Mumbai, 8th May 2021: A total of 82,266 patients were discharged and 53,605 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 864 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.49%.
The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 50,53,336 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 43,47,592 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.49%. As of today, there are 6,28,213 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 86.03% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.49%. Currently, 37,50,502 people are in-home quarantine and 28,453 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 2,91,91,331 laboratory samples 50,53,336 have been tested positive (17.31%) for COVID-19 until today.
