Coronavirus: 8807 New Cases In Maharashtra, 80 Deaths

Mumbai, Feb 24, 2021: A total of 2772 patients were discharged and 8807 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 80 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.45%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 21,21,119 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 20,08,623 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.45%. As of today, there are 59,358 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 94.70% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.45%. Currently, 2,95,578 people are in home quarantine and 2446 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,59,41,773 laboratory sample 21,21,119 have been tested positive (13.31) for COVID-19 until today.
