Coronavirus in Pune: 271 new COVID cases today, 138 discharged
Pune, May 31, 2020: A total of 271 fresh COVID19 reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area in the last 24 hours till 7.30 pm today . Also, 138 people were discharged from hospitals while six patients died.
According to the PMC health department, the total number of COVID cases has reached 6472 out of which 3782 people have been cured while 314 people have died due to Coronavirus. There are 2376 active patients in hospitals at present including 173 critical patients. Today swab samples of 359 people were collected for COVID test. Till now samples of 49320 have been tested and reports of 1072 persons are awaited.
Today, a total of six patients died of Coronavirus. It includes three men and three women who were aged between 52 to 80 years. They were residents of Laxminagar in Yerwada, Yashwantnagar in Yerwada, More Vidyalaya area in Kothrud, Rajewadi in Nana Peth, Tadiwala Road and Kasba Peth.
