Coronavirus Positive patients number reach 245 in Pune
Pune, April 10, 2020: The total number of Coronavirus positive cases in Pune district has reached 245 as per latest information till 5 pm today. The number includes 207 patients under Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limit, while 26 are from PCMC areas and 12 from Pune rural areas.

6761 total positive cases in India
There have been 896 new cases in the last 24 hours. There have also been 37 deaths. The total number of coronavirus positive cases in India has risen to 6761 with 6039 active cases and 516 discharged from hospital. 206 people have died till now. There has been no community transmission of COVID-19 in the country so far, but we have to be cautious. This information was given by Luv Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Health Ministry has also rejected the claim of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh of community transmission in the state.
Agarwal said that yesterday we did 16,002 tests out of which only 0.2% cases were found positive. It has been approved to test for corona virus in 146 government laboratories and 67 private laboratories.
