‘Coupling’ bagged Best Short Film Award in the 4th Mitee Short Film Festival

Pune, 30th December 2024: The 4th Mitee Short Film Festival, organized by the Mitee Film Society in association with Shikshan Prasar Mandali concluded successfully at the Lady Ramabai Hall, S P Collage on Tilak Rd. This year, the short film Coupling, directed by Amandeep Singh, Thunai directed by Vighnesh Paramsivam and OCD directed by Ashutosh Bhalchandra Pagare won First, Second and Third respectively.
Selected 54 short films out of 103 short films in 14 different languages from Maharashtra, Orissa, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Punjab, Italy, China, America, Finland were screened in this two-day festival. Senior Film Expert Satish Jakatdar, Cinematographer Sandeep Awdhani and Actress Pournima Manohar were appointed to judge the films. Wildlife documentary filmmaker Kiran Ghadge, Sound Designer Kamod Kharade and Senior Cinematographer A S Kanal guided the participants regarding WildLife Film making, Sound Designing and the Cinematography.
The event concluded in the presence of renowned actor Manoj Joshi. Prominent attendees included festival organizer Milind Lele, President, Mitee Film Society and Vice President Actor Chandrashekhar Kulkarni, Parag Thakur from Shikshan Prasar Mandali, Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapat Mahamandal President Meghraj Raje Bhosle, Saandeep Avadhani and Prem Jadhav of MNGL were present. The program was hosted by Ahmed Shaikh and Devdutt Bhingarkar.
