COVID-19 cases cross 50,000-mark in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pimpri, Sep 01, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 966 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 630 people got discharged from hospitals while 8 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 50,296 out of which 37,387 have recovered while 867 have died. 5582 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 949 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 191 have died and 1972 have been cured.

Across Maharashtra, 10,978 people got discharged from hospitals while 15,765 new cases and 320 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 8,08,306 out of which 5,84,537  people have recovered and 24,903 have died. There are 1,98,523 active cases.
