Covid 19 Cases Rise Again, Death Rate At An All Time High
New Delhi, 30th August 2021: The havoc of the coronavirus epidemic is increasing continuously in America. Due to the Delta variant, there has been a significant increase in the rate of death due to infection in 42 US states last week. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona has increased by 50 percent in the last one week in 14 states.
According to John Hopkins University, 28 states have seen a 10 percent increase in the number of deaths. Alabama is one of the most affected states. Alabama reported 50 deaths on Thursday. Whereas in the last two to three weeks, the number of deaths has been seen here in double digits. Last week, 5,571 children were infected in Alabama. However, it is not yet known who the children came in contact with and got infected. The corona infection rate in the state is 23 percent, which is quite worrying. It is the highest in America.
Alabama Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris said that the rate of hospitalization of corona infected in the state is increasing continuously. Dr.Harris said that so many people are dying here that there is not even a place to keep the dead body. The state has activated two of its four refrigerated trailers for the first time since the pandemic began. This is done when an incident on a large scale causes deaths.
There is also a shortage of beds and staff with oxygen in many hospitals in America. Hospitals in Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana run out of oxygen. Whereas in some places it is on the verge of extinction. Experts said that the demand for oxygen has increased due to the increasing cases of Covid. At the same time, there is a huge shortage in many hospitals.
