CREDAI-Pune Metro presents IGBC Sustainable Stall Awards

Pune, 17th September 2022: CREDAI-Pune Metro presented the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Sustainable Stall Award to deserving developers on the second day of its 21st Mega Property Exhibition today, which witnessed a heavy rush of home-buyers.

 

The IGBC Pune chapter in association with CREDAI-Pune Metro had announced the awards for developers who displayed eco-friendly measures at their stalls. The awards were given to the candidates at the hands of R. Malhotra, Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda.

 

J.P. Shroff, Convenor of the Expo and Dr. D.K. Abhyankar, Director General, CREDAI-Pune Metro were present during the event.

 

“Based on several criteria including reusing of materials, limited usage of energy and paper and display of green messages on their cubicles, about 90 stalls were assessed by an educational institute- Bricks School of Architecture. Based on the assessment, 12 stalls were selected and 6 were later finalized under Large, Medium and Small stalls categories,” said Dr. Poorva Keskar, Co-chairman, IGBC Pune Chapter.

 

In the Small category stall first prize was given to IGCB Homes, while second prize was given to Goel Properties. In the Medium category stall, first prize was given to Atul Enterprises, while second prize was given to Aditya Builders. In Large category stall, first prize was given to Rohan Builders, while second prize was given to Naiknavare Properties.

 

This year, the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has also participated in this expo for the first time.

 

Speaking on the development, Mousumi Kaushik, Regional Manager, MTDC- Pune said, “This year we have participated in this exhibition for the first time. We are giving information about 29 residences of MTDC in the state in this exhibition and it is getting very good response from the citizens.”
