Crime Branch Arrests Man Who Came To Sell Cannabis On Pune-Solapur Road
Pune, 5th March 2023: The Anti-narcotics team of the crime branch arrested a person who came from the city to sell drugs in the Pune-Solapur road area. Two kilos of cannabis worth Rs 24 lakh were seized from him.
The arrested person has been identified as Aurangzeb Pappu Ansari alias Ranga Pardeshi (27), a resident of Nagar. The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Crime Branch was patrolling the Urli Kanchan area on the Pune-Solapur road. At that time, the police got information that a person was coming to sell cannabis. The police laid a trap and caught him. He was searched. The cannabis was found in his bag.
Two kilos of cannabis have been seized from the foreigner and the value of the seized charas is Rs 24 lakh. Police Inspector Sunil Thopte, Sub-Inspector Shubhangi Narke, Yogesh Mandhare, Yuvraj Kamble, Santosh Deshpande, Santosh Jadhav, and others of the Anti-Narcotics Squad took this action.
