Crucial Information Related To Defence Technologies Shared by Pradip Kurulkar to Pakistan, ATS Claims In Chargesheet
Pune 8th July 2023: The Anti-Terrorist Squad in its chargesheet filed against former DRDO scientist Pradeep Kurulkar has levelled serious allegations against him in a case related to sharing sensitive information with Pakistan Intelligence Operative. The chargesheet claims that Kurulkar has shared some sensitive information with Pakistan agent including details related to the defence technologies.
According to reports, details of defence technologies including missile launchers Brahmos and Agni 6, Surface-to-Air Missiles, Anti-Satellite Missiles, Rustom DRDO (an unmanned aerial vehicle), Mentor Missile, Rafael, AK system, Astra missile, and defence drones.
The ATS chargesheet also claims that Kurulkar had downloaded a software having malware and the possibility of Pakistan Intelligence Operative accessing sensitive information from his mobile phone can not be ruled out. According to reports, highly sensitive information regarding testing and design of defence projects has been recovered from Kurulkar’s phone. However, the ATS team is yet to investigate whether these details have been shared with Pakistan agent.
Last week, the ATS team has filed a chargesheet comprising around 1,800 pages in the case. Pardip Kurulkar, a senior scientist of DRDO was arrested by ATS on charges of espionage case from Pune. He was honey trapped by Pakistan Intelligence Operative with name Zara Das Gupta.
