Cycling Association of Maharashtra donated One Lakh for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
Pune, 21 July 2020:On the occasion of the 61st birth anniversary of Ajit Pawar, President of Maharashtra Olympic Association and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, a cheque of Rs. 1,05,000 / – (Rs. One Lakh and Five Thousand) was handed over to Ajit Pawar during a recent meeting at the Vidhan Bhavan in Pune for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund – COVID 19.
On this occasion, Ajit Pawar said that the Cycling Association of Maharashtra always recognizes its social responsibility and implements various activities and also makes its players and members aware of this responsibility.
The work done by the Cycling Association of Maharashtra in recognition of its social responsibility while going through a difficult situation like the global pandemic caused by COVID 19 is a guideline to all the organizations in the field of sports. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed this on the occasion. Appreciating the progress made by the cyclists in Maharashtra in the last three years, Ajit Pawar promised to provide all the necessary facilities to the cyclists in Maharashtra in the near future.
The event was graced by renowned industrialist and CEO of MIT World Peace University CIAP Mr. Pravin Patil, Treasurer of Cycling Federation of India Pratap Jadhav, Secretary of the Association Prof. Sanjay Sathe, Vice President of Kolhapur District Cycling Association Abhijeet Mohite, Member Bhushan Pratap Jadhav and others were present on the occasion.
