Cyclone MICHAUNG Forces Cancellation of 144 Trains Along Andhra Pradesh Coast
Pune, 2nd December 2023: Due to the impending cyclone MICHAUNG affecting coastal Andhra Pradesh, 144 trains scheduled from December 2nd to December 8th, 2023, have been cancelled.
Railway authorities have requested the dissemination of coaching train regulation data and bulk SMS alerts through ICMS, Passenger Information System, IVRS, All India Network (139), newspapers, AIR, TV, and bold manuscript notices at prominent locations. Passengers of affected trains will receive SMS notifications on their mobile phones and frequent announcements will be made through PA systems at stations for their convenience. Please notify all concerned.”
