Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web Now Available on Prime Video for Rent

Pune, March 29: Marvel’s superhero film “Madame Web,” starring Dakota Johnson, has arrived on the OTT platform Prime Video after a disappointing theatrical run.
The film, which released in cinemas on February 14, is now available to rent on Prime Video’s store section. Subscribers will have to pay an additional fee of ₹249 to watch the movie in either SD or HD quality.
“Madame Web” received a lukewarm response from audiences and critics alike. The film currently holds a rating of 3.8 on IMDb and was a commercial flop. Following the film’s underwhelming performance, Johnson reportedly stated she wouldn’t be returning to the superhero genre anytime soon. “Maybe I can’t connect myself to that world,” she was quoted as saying.
The film is available in 13 languages on Prime Video with subtitles in 14 languages, including Hindi, English, and Tamil. With a U/A maturity rating, viewers must be at least 16 years old to watch it. The content advisory warns of language, violence, and alcohol use. Directed by S.J. Clarkson, the film features Johnson alongside Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott. The runtime of the movie is approximately 117 minutes. Rented films must be watched within 30 days and completed within 48 hours of starting.
