Date Extended For Regularisation Of Unauthorized Constructions

Pune, 2nd July 2022: The deadline for submitting applications for the regularisation of unauthorized constructions has been extended to 31st March 2023. The previous deadline was 30th June 2022.

Since 10th January, 450 applications have been submitted to the Public Works Department, of which only two constructions have been authorized. The Maharashtra state government has issued special orders to regularize the houses built before 30th December 2020 in Gunthewari. Accordingly, unauthorized constructions will be regularised, and the Municipal Corporation will also get income.

The state government has announced that the houses will be regularised by charging a fee under the Gunthewari Act. These proposals have to be submitted online through an architect or engineer.
