DAY-15: Hutchings, JN Petit enter two semifinals of Loyola Football Cup 2025

Pune, 19th November, 2025: Hutchings H.S (Under-12 and Under 14) joined hands with JN Petit Technical School (Under-14 and Under-16) to enter the last-four of their respective age sections respectively by winning their quarterfinals in the Loyola Football Cup 2025, powered by Tata Autocomp, at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here on Tuesday.

The other two semi-final slots were claimed by Vidya Bhavan (Under-12) and Loyola H.S (Under-16) to complete the semi-final line up.

In the Under-12 category, Vidya Bhavan won tight encounter with St. Patricks 2-1 with Aniket More’s (7’ and 22’) brace of goals proving decisive. For St. Patricks, Krishav Pillay (13’) reduced the margin of defeat.

Later, in the same age category, Hutchings H.S had to put up their best before downing The Kalyani School 3-2, after sharing regulation time 1-1. Hutchings H.S scored through Vivaan Shenoy (28’) which levelled the scores with The Kalyani School after Yuvaan Mehra (14’) opened the scoring. In the tie-breaker, Hutchings H.S scored though the efforts of Anay Chavan and Akash Khaire. The Kalyani School scored once via Vivaan Prasad.

The Under-14 section had Hutchings H.S brush aside Infant Jesus 3-2. A brace by Parth Patil (12’, 41’) and a goal by Shourya Pardeshi (20’) helped Hutchings H.S during the day. While for Infant Jesus Stephen Kumar (10’) and Chaitanya Pangul (13’) reduced the margin.

In the same section, JN Petit Technical School put out The Kalyani School 5-4in the tie-breaker after playing out a goalless draw at full time. For the winners JN Petit Technical School, Tanvish Khairnar, Saad Shaikh, Aarush Patil, Pushkar Barge, Adhiraj Biranje were successful with their efforts, while The Kalyani School replied through (Kabir Chaddha, Akshaj Agarwal, Garv Buttan, Armaan Raj.

The Under-16 section were high scoring games. Host’s Loyola H.S pushed out Millennium National School 7-0 with Aditya Dhasmana (4’, 20’ and 36’), Parth Shinde (18’, 37’, 38’) and a lone goal by Aryawardhan Kakade (33’) made up the huge tally.

In the other quarterfinal, JN Petit Technical School hammered St. Patricks 8-0. The win was possible

When Daksh Pillay netted thrice (9’, 13’, 25’), while Yug Chowhan (19’), a brace by Danish Gonal (35’, 46’) and a goal each by Neel Wagh (37’) and Parth Sonawane (42’) made up the tally.
