Deccan Gymkhana in lead in finals of PYC-Goldfieldd MANDKE TROPHY

Pune, September 20, 2023: Deccan Gymkhana took a 87 runs first innings lead at the end of the first day against Poona Club in the finals of PYC-Goldfieldd MANDKE TROPHY being sponsored by Goldfieldd Properties organised by PYC Hindu Gymkhana on their ground

In the first innings Poona Club were bowled out for (162-50runs) 112 (Net score) for all out in 27Overs unable to last 40 overs in their first innings with Deccan bowlers Ajay Borude claiming 4 wickets for 13 runs and Ashay Palkar taking 3 wickets for 46 runs.

In reply a 3rd wicket partnership between Atharva Wanave 78(65, 6×4,4×6), Suraj Shinde not 54 of 121runs in 110 balls helped Deccan Gymkhana reach 214 runs for loss of 3 wickets (199 net) in 26 overs and take a first innings lead .

On the second day tomorrow Deccan Gymkhana still Has 14 overs remaining In their first innings
