Defeating Corona, bringing the economy back on track are two bigger challenges : Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, April 5, 2020: Defeating the spread of Corona and bringing back the economy on track are the two major challenges faced by the state at this point of time. People should cooperate in curbing the killer virus by staying at their homes for few more days. This can help overcome Corona said deputy chief minister of the state mister Ajit Pawar. He further said that while responding to the lamp lighting appeal made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 9:00 p.m. today, nobody should go out of their houses. They should not get crowded on the road or should not come together.

Mr Pawar said that the figure of Corona patients in the state has crossed 650 and controlling this soaring figure and curbing the death, lessening the tension on people from health and police department and other machinery and bringing the economy affected by the shutdown, back on the track are major challenges before all of us. People should maintain patience and discipline for overcoming these challenges. The spread of Corona shows that it has entered our villages, our colonies and societies. Now, it is the duty of all the people to ensure that it does not enter your house and does not affect you and your family members. This is your prime duty he added.

Mr. Pawar expressed confidence that if the people keep patience for few more days and do not go out of your houses, we will surely control the spreading of Corona. The deputy chief minister further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the people of the nation to light the lamp in their doors and balconies. While responding to this, the people of the state should not go out of their houses. They should avoid crowding on the roads. He also said that presently people are cleaning their hands with sanitizer and if you take your hands near the candles, there can be chances of casualties. He asked the people to remain safe. He also appealed to the people to cooperate the officers and employees of health, police, food and civil supply department and the officers and employees of government departments as they are fighting with the objective of overcome the disastrous disease and working with full devotion.
