Delhi AIIMS Makes Masks Mandatory For Staff, Gatherings Of More Than Five Disallowed

Delhi, 22nd December 2022: Given the increasing cases of corona in other countries, including China, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) issued an order to its employees to follow the rules of prevention. Everyone has been instructed to compulsorily wear masks at the workplace and avoid gathering more than five people in one place.

 

Five new cases of the corona were reported on Wednesday. Whereas, in the last 24 hours, one patient died, and eight patients recovered. The infection rate was 0.19 per cent. At present, there are 27 active patients of Corona in Delhi. 19 patients are in home isolation, and three patients are hospitalized. One patient is on oxygen support. The number of Containment Zones is three.

 

Suresh Kumar, Medical Director of LNJP Hospital, appealed to the people on Thursday to take the preventive dose of Covid-19. He also advised citizens to be careful during the upcoming festivals. He has appealed to people to wear masks and acquire the booster dose.
