Denied tickets but Vinod Tawde, Eknath Khadse to feature as star campaigners of BJP

Pune, 11th October, 2019: Leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Vinod Tawde and Eknath Khadse who were dropped from the party’s candidates’ lists to contest Maharashtra assembly election 2019, now have been featured in the star campaigners list.

However, the two leaders will not contest the Maharashtra assembly election, Vinod Tawde and Eknath Khadse would campaign for the party in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly election 2019.

After Tawde and Khadse’s names did not appear in any of the candidates’ list, the two BJP leaders put up a heroic face and said that they accept the decision of the party leadership to not field them in the Maharashtra assembly election 2019.

Tawde said that he was committed to ensuring the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance’s win and there was “no question of leaving the party”.

While Khadse said that he has requested to party workers in his constituency Muktainagar to ensure a great victory for his daughter Rohini Khadse, who has been fielded by the BJP from the seat in North Maharashtra.
