DESPERATE MURDERER AND CARJACKER OF SHAKTI SHARDA GANG ARRESTED BY DELHI POLICE

➢ HE WAS PLANNING TO ROB A BUSINESSMAN OF JIND, HARYANA. 

➢ HE WAS ABSCONDING IN THREE CASES AFTER COMING OUT OF JAIL AFTER GETTING BAIL.

 ➢ ONE REVOLVER AND THREE LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.    

INTRODUCTION:- 

​            The Inter-border Gangs Investigation Squad of Crime Branch has arrested a desperate criminal namely Pradeep@Birju(Age-32 Years) r/o Gangotri Enclave, Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi (Permanent Address Distt. Jhajhar, Haryana). One revolver with three live cartridges have been recovered from his possession.  Pradeep@ Birju isinvolved in more than 12 cases of murder, carjacking, possession of illegal arms and robbery etc., He was absconding in three cases and the Hon’ble court had issued NBWs against him.

TEAM AND OPERATION:-  ​

IGIS, Crime Branch,Dwarka has been keeping a watch on the criminals who had been released on bail and were trying to reorganise theirgroup. ASI Bijender received a secret information that one Pradeep @ Birju, whowas the sharpshooter of Shakti Sharda Gang had come out on bail and was planning to rob a businessman in Jind, Haryana. This information was developed and on the basis of a secret information, a team under the supervision of ACP Aditya Gautam consisting of Insp. P.C Khanduri, SI Data Ram, SI Rohit, SI MohanLal, ASI Bijender , ASI Dinesh , ASI Yudhvir, ASI Vinod, HC Anil, HC Ajit, HC Vijender and Ct Hukum Singh, under overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh, laida trap near Raghuvir  Block, Prem Nagar,Najafgarh, Delhi and  apprehended Pradeep @ Birju. From the possession of the accused, one countrymade revolver and 3 live cartridges were recovered.  ​A case under appropriate sections was registered at PS Crime Branch.   PROFILE & INTERROGATION: –  Pradeep @ Birju was bornand brought up in Jhajjar, Haryana. He studied up to 7th class from Government School in his village. Thereafter, his family  shifted to Delhi. The accused did not study further and indulged in bad company. For the first time,he was arrested in a carjacking case of Gurugram. In jail he met another gangster Navin Khati of Najafgarh and joined his gang. In 2014 he joined Shakti Gang and committed a murder in Vill- Nangal Dewat. About 4 months back he came out of Jail on bail but did not appear before courts during trial. Non Bailable Warrants were issued against him but he absconded and the process of proclamation has been issued from the courts. He was re-organising the gang and had planned to loot about Rs 20 lacs from a businessman  in Jind,Haryana. He had also conducted a reconnaissance of the area. However, before he could commit the crime he was arrested.
