District Collector Distributes Cheques To 14 Farmers Whose Land Is Acquired For Pune Ring Road Project

Pune 19th July 2023: The District Collector of Pune Rajesh Deshmukh on Wednesday handed over cheques to 14 farmers whose land has been acquired by the district administration for Ring Road Project. The district administration distributed cheques worth Rs 13,82,90,000 to these farmers. A total of 3.17 hectares of land will be acquired from these farmers by the government.

The district collector called in an important achievement for the project and said that the implementation of this project has begun on ground. The government is providing 25 percent additional amount to the farmers for the land acquired for this project. Around Rs 1,000 Crore fund has been sanctioned by the state government for this project and the cheques are being handed over by the district administration with an agreement.

The farmers who received cheques in an event organised at district collector office on Wednesday include 9 farmers from Kalyan village of Haveli Taluka, 2 from Urse village of Maval Taluka and 2 farmers from Ghotawade village of Mulshi Taluka.
