Diwali Rush: Platform Ticket Price Hiked Three Times At Pune Railway Station
Pune, 21st October 2021: In order to curb the crowding at Pune railway station ahead of Diwali, the authorities have increased the cost of platform ticket.
The Railways has increased the platform ticket rate from Rs 10 to Rs 30. This has been done to curb crowding of the railway station during the festive season.
The increased cost of the platform ticket will be applicable from October 25 to November 10.
Currently, over 1,500 people buy platform tickets daily at the railway station.
