Dr Sarjerao Nimse Lauds Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav’s Agricultural Insight at SPPU Interaction

Pune, 14th January 2024: On Saturday of January 13, 2024, esteemed academician Dr. Sarjerao Nimse, former Vice-Chancellor of Swami Ramanand Theertha Marathwada University and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Central University, graced the School of Education at SPPU. The occasion was marked by a warm felicitation from the heads of the Economics Department, Lifelong Learning and Extension, and the School of Education, who presented two enlightening books to Dr. Nimse.

During the interaction, Dr. Nimse expressed his admiration for Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav’s distinguished work, “Chirebandi Krishi Bazar aani Dhurbal Shetkari,” and commended the collaborative effort of Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav, Dr. Khalil Shah, and Prof. R. S. Deshpande in “Maharashtratil Krishi Vikas: Ek Hetuta Dhurlakshit Shetra” (Agricultural Development in Maharashtra: An Intentionally Neglected Sector).
