Drivers License Will Be Revoked If Caught Thrice For Violating Rules

Pune, December 18, 2020: Driver’s license will be revoked after taking action for violating rules for the third time. To prevent accidents on the Pune-Mumbai highway, drivers should strictly follow the traffic rules. Minister of State Home (Rural) Shambhuraj Desai on Thursday said that drivers who do not follow lane discipline will be closely monitored.

He was speaking at the Lane Cutting, Vehicle Action, Safe Travel Instruction Program at Urse Toll Naka. Highway Safety Patrol (Pune)  Superintendent of Police Sanjay Jadhav, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pritam Yavalkar, Inspector of Police Rajan Saste, Sub-Inspector of Police Amol Powar, Police personnel Anil Shinde, Valmik Pharande, Sachin Kadale, Parashuram Jadhav, Nilesh Sarode, Ajay Patskar, IRB Manager Vaman Rathod, Pathkar Manager Dhananjay Panashikar etc. were present.

Desai said that with the heavy traffic on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, immediate measures will be taken to ensure safe travel on this route. Measures will be taken to provide immediate treatment to the injured.

Superintendent of Police Sanjay Jadhav said that ambulances are immediately available at the scene of the accident. Drivers who break traffic rules are penalized as well as made aware of the rules.
