Drones Banned In Pune Ahead Of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit

Pune 31st July 2023: The Pune City Police has issued prohibitory orders to ban the flying of drones in the city ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit scheduled on August 1. According to the official order, drone activity will remain banned in the city between July 30 and August 2.

The police have warned of action under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for violation of this order. It may be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on August 1 to receive Lokmanya Tilak Award. During his visit he will also inaugurate the extended route of Pune Metro between Civil Court to Phugewadi and Garware College to Ruby Hall Clinic Metro Stations. Besides, he will also inaugurate multiple developmental projects in the city.

The city police have increased security in the city ahead of his visit and precautions are being taken to avoid any untoward incident.
