New Delhi, 17th October 2025: A dramatic brawl erupted at Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, where Vande Bharat Express catering staff were caught on video engaging in a violent clash that resembled a wrestling match. The video, which went viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), shows several men throwing dustbins, swinging belts, and exchanging blows on Platform No. 7, while bystanders attempted to intervene.

Following the incident, immediate action was taken by railway authorities. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has detained all individuals involved in the altercation. Officials confirmed that the identity cards of four vendors have been confiscated.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has also imposed a ₹5 lakh penalty on the concerned service provider, and a notice for contract termination has been issued.

According to officials, the incident occurred between IRCTC personnel deployed on the Vande Bharat Express, and a detailed inquiry has been initiated.

The viral clip, widely shared online, drew attention for its chaotic visuals of catering staff engaged in what viewers dubbed a “WWE-style fight,” turning an otherwise routine platform scene into a spectacle.
