Eight brilliant young artists will perform their best in musical event ‘Bhavitavya’

Pune, October 24, 2018 : With an aim to present young talented singers and musicians to the world, Sa Va Ni Sursangit and NCPA has jointly organized a unique musical event called ‘Bhavitavya’. In this two-day event, 8 brilliant young artists will be performing their best.

These performances will take place on October 27 and 28, at Garware Hall, Abasaheb Garware College, Karve Road, at 5 pm on both days. The information is given by Surendra Mohite, Founder, Sa Va Ni. The entry to the event is free and open for all.

On the first day (Saturday, October 27), Krutika Janginmath, a visually challenged flute player from Vijapur and a disciple of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasiya will be presenting her talent. Along with her, Anup Kulthe, a young Violin player and disciple of renowned Violinist Atulkumar Upadhye will present his skill. Prakruti Vahane, an 18-year-old Santoor player from Indore will be mesmerizing audience with her art. On the same day, Meher Paralikar, a young vocalist from Pune and disciple of Pt. Ajay Chakravarti will be presenting a classical vocal performance.

On the second day (Sunday, October 28), Soumyajit Paul, Satar player from Kolkata will present his skill. He is disciple of renowned Satar player Pt. Saumitra Lahiri. Audience will also get to listen to a very young Harmonium player Savani Dharmadhikari. The 10-year-old Harmonium player from Kolhapur, very gracefully presents different styles of playing Harmonium. She is the grand-daughter of famous Tabla player Pt. Keshavrao Dharmadhikari. Following her, Ashay Kulkarni will present a solo Tabla performance. He is disciple of Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. Vinay Ramdasan, a young vocalist will present a classical vocal performance. He is disciple of renowned vocalist Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar.
